Official sources only
We use provider pricing pages, official help centers, and official terms. Each pricing tier stores its HTTPS source and the date it was checked. We do not use third-party price roundups as evidence.
Subscriber-tier matching
Subscriber ranges are inclusive. A count of 2,500 matches a tier ending at 2,500; a count of 2,501 matches the next explicit tier. We create separate records for published brackets rather than estimating a formula between them.
Unknown and custom prices
A price is unknown when the official public page does not provide a reliably confirmable value, requires a dynamic quote we did not retain, or directs the buyer to contact sales. Unknown is stored as null, displayed as “Check official pricing,” and never treated as free or as the cheapest result.
Billing calculations
For monthly billing, the 12-month estimate is the published monthly price multiplied by 12. For annual billing, an explicit annual total takes precedence over a displayed monthly equivalent. Annual saving is calculated only when both the monthly and annual baselines are known.
Feature classification
A feature is marked present only when the compared plan has an official statement supporting it. “Automation” means at least one documented automation capability; it does not claim that platforms have equivalent triggers or workflow depth. Recommendation network, digital products, and team collaboration follow the same availability-not-quality rule.
Ranking rules
- Plans that cover the subscriber count and every selected required feature come first.
- Eligible results with known prices sort by estimated 12-month cost, lowest first.
- Eligible results with unknown prices follow known eligible prices.
- Results missing required features or a verified subscriber tier appear last with an explanation.
- Stable platform order resolves exact ties.
Affiliate relationships and commission rates are not ranking inputs.
Facts, calculations, and editorial guidance
Official facts are paraphrased and linked. Calculated examples state their assumptions. “Best for,” “watch out for,” and conditional conclusions are editorial guidance derived from documented features—not user reviews or firsthand-use claims.
Freshness and corrections
Pricing data older than 45 days generates a development and test warning. A stale warning does not silently change a price or block the public site, because a blocked build would not make old information more accurate. Material corrections and reviews are recorded in the changelog.
What estimates exclude
Unless a source explicitly includes them, estimates may exclude taxes, add-ons, overages, payment-processing charges, transaction fees, promotional discounts, regional differences, migration services, and implementation labor.
