Subscriber counts, billing choices, and required-feature selections are processed in your browser. Those calculator inputs are not sent to our click database.
Affiliate click measurement
When you activate an enabled affiliate pricing link, we record a random event ID, server timestamp, page path, platform name, and button position. These are click events, not unique visitors, purchases, or confirmed commissions. We do not store IP addresses, email addresses, browser fingerprints, query parameters, or persistent visitor identifiers in this database. Records older than 30 days are removed by daily cleanup and cleanup on writes; removal happens when cleanup runs rather than at an exact instant.
Test traffic preferences
Use the footer's test-traffic control or add ?tracking=off to a page URL to disable our browser analytics and affiliate redirects. Test-mode affiliate buttons lead here instead of to the provider. A local storage preference named ncg_tracking_excluded remembers your choice; it is not a visitor identifier. Internal links preserve test mode when storage is unavailable. Use the exit control or ?tracking=on to restore normal behavior on the live site. Local previews always exclude tracking. This does not erase earlier events or prevent infrastructure security logs.
Accounts, email, and payments
The site does not offer user accounts, comments, saved comparisons, an email subscription form, or online payments. Do not send sensitive information through the calculator because it is designed only for aggregate subscriber counts and feature preferences.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. Cloudflare may process standard network and request information for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and security under its own policies. Newsletter Cost Guide does not promise that infrastructure logs contain no personal data.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and page-load performance. Its browser beacon collects timing metrics through the Performance API. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for usage metrics and does not track individual visitors across its customers' websites.

Provider and documentation links take you to third-party websites. Those websites control their own cookies, analytics, forms, and privacy practices. Opening an official pricing page is subject to that provider's policy.
Affiliate providers may use cookies or similar attribution technologies after you follow an affiliate link. Newsletter Cost Guide does not receive your provider login credentials, account details, or payment information.
Optional YouTube video
The homepage tutorial does not load a YouTube player or remote thumbnail until you select “Load video tutorial”. That action loads a privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube receives network information such as your IP address and may process playback information or use storage under its own policies; privacy-enhanced mode is not a promise of anonymous playback. The direct YouTube link also opens a third-party service. Our test-traffic preference does not disable YouTube's own data processing. See Google's privacy policy.
